Im trying to connect my modam could you please help

First step is to make sure if the modem is functional. This can be done by connecting your computer to modem and check if you are able to log on to internet.
Second step is to connect the cable which previously connected to computer to Router's WAN port not LAN
Third step is to power cycle the modem and router that is power off and on both modem and router
Last step is connect router to your computer with new ethernet cable using one of the LAN ports of the router. There are usually three or four LAN ports on Router!
Good luck! Repost if you still need help!

Try a brand-new cable between the modem and the "uplink" port on the router.
Try a brand-new cable from one of the "LAN" ports to your computer, and test to see that you get a good connection.

HP ML350 G5 can't auto bootup after shutdown

It's divide and conquer time! First let's see if it's UPS or server related.

Try any, or all, of these Wake-On-LAN utilties to see if the server responds:
http://www.depicus.com/wake-on-lan/wake-on-lan-gui.aspx
http://www.matcode.com/wol.htm
http://www.solarwinds.com/products/freetools/wake_on_lan.aspx

If it does, then there is a problem with the UPS that needs further invesigation.

If it does not, read this article from APC:
http://nam-en.apc.com/cgi-bin/nam_en.cfg/php/enduser/std_adp.php?p_sid=eIzqf7Ti&p_accessibility=0&p_lva=215&p_li=&p_faqid=2929&p_created=1057853424&p_sp=cF9zcmNoPTEmcF9zb3J0X2J5PSZwX2dyaWRzb3J0PSZwX3Jvd19jbnQ9OCZwX3Byb2RzPTQ1MSZwX2NhdHM9JnBfcHY9MS40NTEmcF9jdj0mcF9zZWFyY2hfdHlwZT1hbnN3ZXJzLnNlYXJjaF9mbmwmcF9wYWdlPTEmcF9zZWFyY2hfdGV4dD13YWtlIG9uIGxhbg**&p_search_text=wake+on+lan

Also, if you are using a switch/router to connect the UPS to the LAN, make sure your network devices are configured to allow WOL.

CNET CWR-854 Wireless G problem.

hello!

you may try this and see if this help solve your problem

Step 1: Shutdown the computer.
Step 2: reset the router while power on then Unplug the router’s power cable.
Step 3: Unplug the Broadband modem’s power cable and wait for 30 seconds.
Step 4: Plug in the Broadband modem’s power cable and wait for its lights to appear
stable.
Step 5: Plug in the router's power cable once the modem’s lights appear stable.
Step 6: Power on the computer on and test the Internet connection.

if this still didnot work, maybe you need to upgrade the firmware of your router

Totally cannot run!

have you got your lan card drivers installed and is the windows firewall blocking connection as this can cause problems also check that the device is not being shutdown in windows newtork manager, if problem persists then get a converter to change lan to usb and install drivers for camera. good luck on connection.

Onboard Lan causes boot and shut down problem

It sounds like you have some bad LAN circuity on your motherboard. You might try a workaround by installing a separate LAN card and using that. If the separate card doesn't solve the problem your motherboard is just bad and needs to be replaced.
