Hi I am finding it impossible to install the software for my RDC3100 Every time I try to upload from software disc my computer crashes I am running Vista Premium I know that I can transfer photos from my SD card but I also want to use the internal memory Is there anywhere I can download new drivers from which are compatable with windows vista can anyone help please
relisys is at the moment in administartion, so there is not likely to be any drivers for Vista, but i think if you connect your cam to the pc it will find your cam and you should be able to see it in my computer as a seperate removoble drive and explore the folders in the camera memory or it should ask if you wish to transfer pictures to the picture gallery.

I recently bought a used Sony DCR-VX1000 camcorder. Was used little and in mint condition. However when you first turn the camcorder on, the monitor in the viewfinder rolls a bit like an old TV set but then after a minute or so, sets itself. This does not affect the taping however. I've heard it might have to do with a ribbon for the viewfinder but don't know.

When I take a picture it stays on the screen for so long that quite often I miss a good shot a few secinds later. If i turn the camera off or the batteries go flat before the picture on the screen dissappears then it doesnt save the picture in my memory. I lost 100 photos of a school 5 mile run for childrens cancer research last week and it only saved 8. Why ?????? It is so frustrating as it takes minutes to save the picture. I have turned off the 'quick veiw' but I just get a black screen for the same length of time. What am I doing wrong ? Please can you give me some advice as am about to put it in the bin....................
