Black decker crush master base will not unlock

Try some WD 40and see if that works.

look at the manual that came with it or look on the internet and see if they can help you.

Unplug the blender. Use a baking soda and vinegar solution to clean the metal contacts on the bottom of the metal blender blade. (You will see a small circular inverted washer looking thing). Use the solution on the main blender unit also. (You will see a small circular metal piece in the center) Scrub them both with the solution and wipe. These seem to be some type of sensors. I then replugged the blender back in and it worked for me!! Good luck!

However these are prone to cracking. I ordered a second after my first cracked, and the second one cracked after just a couple uses.

Did you find a collar? My BLKT800 motor died & I still have collars.

I had to call Black and Decker directly 800-231-9786 to order the part (called the "collar"). It was $14.95 w/ shipping and handling!! Seems pretty steep for a piece of plastic.

If it is 2 yrs old,Just call the customer service,they will give you the parts for blender for lesser price or else go for new one.

Try calling B&D at 1-800-544-6986 There might be a recall also.
