Static All of a sudden my phone has a lot of static, the person on the other end can hear me but I can not hear them because of the static. Re: Static

The cordless phones have a button to change the channels that are within the radio freq. range. I would change the channels until you get a clear/static free call.

Are they clear or do they have the static. If it is a telephone company old copper line and it happens on all phones it maybe a Telco problem.

Check the cord from the phone to the handset - wiggle both ends to see if you get more noise. Could be a bad connection or bad cord.

My phone is a panasonic kx-tga101s problems. Suddenly I can receive and hear calls, but my callers only hear static. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Try unplugging all units from the AC outlets as well as the phone connection. Leave disconnected for a few minutes. Re-connect all units and try calling out or have someone call in. this should correct the problem.

Our receiver is creating a lot of static. When we answer the phone, we can't hear the conversation. can we get a replacement receiver.

  1. Maybe you can try purchasing a filter. It's a small device that any electrical shop should know. Ask them for a phone filter, it is hooked on the end of the phone line before it is plugged into the wall outlet or the phone handset.
  2. Or you'll need a replacement, but I'm sure the first option would eliminate the static once the phone is working.

Lots of static heard during use of this phone.

Time for a new phone. Most likely there are some bad solder connections and they could be anywhere. A 2 year old battery should not cause such severe problems so I'd spend the money on a new phone before a new battery.

GE cordless phone 2.4 ghz

Your phone must be away from other appliances (i.e. microwaves, radios) and computer equipment (i.e. wireless routers, monitors). The phone runs on 2.4GHz which often conflicts with them.
