Error code 5C00 refers to possible paper jam or product needs reset or service.
It is possible that a previous paper jam has left a piece of paper inside the machine. If you cannot see any paper jammed at either input area, open the rear cover and look in there. Otherwise, you can try to reset the product:
Reset the printer:
1. Turn the printer off with the Power button
2. Disconnect the data cable from the printer
3. Unplug the printer's power cord for approximately 10 minutes, and then plug it back in. Attach data cable.
4. Turn the printer back on
If all of these suggestions fail, your MX700 may require repair service.
6A80 is APP position error.First, make sure there is no paper jam anywhere in the machine.. look inside, rear, where the paper tray (output) is, etc to see if you find any shreds or torn paper that may have gotten stuck and you didn't see.Look carefully in the zone of Purge unit, using flashlight in the right side on printer.Check the sheet feeder. If this not help your printer need service.
Suspect the printer's program is scrambled (didn't "boot" right)
Could there have been any power fluxuations/lightning? Even if it wasn't on, if it was plugged in the wall then there could have been damage. Are you using a universal power device or a current protector?
Unplug the unit from the wall, wait 20 to 30 seconds for the power capacitors to disipate their energy and then plug it back in. This will do a HARD reset.
