Remove your consoles face plate (by using your fingernails or a small screwdriver and pry the bottom of the faceplate when laying flat off. Then try the eject button if that also fails straighten out a paperclip and use the manual eject hole on the console which is locates right below the DVD Rom drive and slide out the DVD tray slowly. You will need to get the disc out before sending it in for repair. Any media still in the console when sent in for maintenance will be lost.

Discs Eject on Their Own

If you are experiencing this problem while attempting to play a Nintendo GameCube Game Disc, check the model number on your Wii console. Only Wii consoles with model number RVL-001 are compatible with Nintendo GameCube Game Discs. (learn more)

The Wii will not read my disc

Situation:

The Wii console will not accept game discs or the discs are ejecting immediately

What To Do:

Press the eject button on the front of the console. The console will not accept any discs if there is already a disc inserted, and it is common to forget that a disc was already inserted.
If the system still won't accept discs, or if the discs are immediately ejected, this indicates a problem with the mechanism that pulls the discs into the system and the Wii will need to be repaired. To begin the repair process, click here.

When i press eject it trys to eject the disc but then it just stops and loads the disc

Nintendo did have a problem with alot of their systems. Call Nintendo's support number. Ours would not read the discs at all or even eject, so Nintendo sent us a mail out package for us to send it off. They repaired it and we were back in business in 2 weeks.

Unplug everything from the system and the power cable from the wall or power strip, let it sit for about 5 minutes. Plug everything into the system first then the wall. Power should come on

Wont accept disc

Try this....after a lot of frustration and research, what i found on the internet for this problem was usless. I tried holding down the eject button for 15 seconds to reset the disc drive, still it would'nt accept the disc. As i literally picked up the phone to ring sony, as the ps3 was on standby i pressed the eject button multiple times and heard 2 beeps each time, still the system stayed on standby. After that i then tried just putting the disc in as normal as its on standby and the system booted automatically and accepted my disc. I hope this helps others, as mine now works perfectly.

PS3 will not eject the disc nor acknowledge the game being in the console

NEVER EVER TURN YOUR SYSTEM OF WHEN YOU ARE PLAYING ONLINE AND THE GAME FREEZES!!!...

Just try to wait for 30 - 50 sec.
If that does not work than EJECT THE DISC AND THAN TURN OF THE SYSTEM, It has nothing to do with your PS3, Check your connection status and reset all your internet settings BUT NOT THE SYSTEM ITSELF.

If this still doesnt work than there's something wrong with the disc.

Play station 3

Push and hold the eject button for at least 10 seconds to force an eject of the disc. After the disc ejects, turn the system off and then back on to resume play. Hope this helps. Good luck.
