Question about Microwave Ovens
It was on less than 45 seconds and then lost all power. I tried unplugging it. Tried another outlet. It is clean inside and out and has enough space between it and the wall. I cannot find a fuse on the machine.
Is this oven new? IF NOT HOW OLD?
Did you plug the oven into different outlets or try another appliance to make sure the outlets were working?
Sometimes two or more outlets can be on the same breaker, or on the same GFCI, and if either tripped, the oven of course would not work in either outlet, something to double check.
If it is new, of course take it back. If not and you prove you have power, there is a fuse in about every microwave I have ever looked in.
get the manual or download one, and it will tell you where to look for the fuse, it is common for a fuse to blow in these ovens, so more searching is needed before the next step.
