Question about Microwave Ovens

Panasonic Microwave only works for 37 secs no matter what time setting

My microwave will only work for 37 secs no matter what time setting I insert and it does not heat up even over this 37 seconds

I have tried to re start but that has not worked either.

Thoughts? I have the exact same problem, turns on for approx. 25-30 seconds and then shuts off, does not heat during the brief time it is on.
Oven is approx. 1 year old - Panasonic Model T795, 1200w INVERTER

If it stops after 22 seconds, that means the controller has detected a problem, usually a problem with the inverter or a bad magnetron.

Due to the lethal voltages used and produced in inverters, I do not recommend that an inexperienced person work on these.

The microwave is defective. If you owned it less than 90 days, take it back to the store but get a different brand of microwave. A few people purchased the same one that you bought and in lasted less than 1 year. The problem. It does not work at all.

I have a Panasonic combination microwave, NNA753. The microwave has stopped working. When I put it on with 1/2 cup of water in it, it runs for 27 secs and then switches off. I have tried doing this...

Magnetron fault. This requires service through an authorised Panasonic service department as it is extremely specialised due to the type of technology employed with this machine.
The unit is not heating in the time set by the sensor.

My Panasonic Micro Oven is working for 37 secs and cuts off. What is your advice - to repair or replace it with a new one?

generally this problem occurs when the sensor detects overheating. Make sure all the vents are clear and there is a good air circulation around the unit.

Replacementonly necessary , if the suggestion is incorrect.

Try unplugging the microwave for about 30 seconds, then plug back in. This may work. What you are doing is resetting the micro processor.

If it stops at 16 seconds and is a sensor model, it probably has a defective humidity sensor.

Micrwave does not heat, and turns off by itself before time

Unplug the Microwave and remove the outer cabinet. Inside the cabinet will be a thermal insulated fuse, looks like the old buss fuses for early model cars but white. Replace that with the correct fuse which can be found at Lowes or Home depot and see if that solves the problem. Be careful not to touch any capacitors if they are in there.
