Question about Epson PowerLite Home Cinema 710HD Projector V11H475020

Open Question

Epson powerlite home cinema 710HD powers on but no blue screen

Just opened the box and set it up. played ps3 game and it was fine. powered off via remote. hour+ later powered on via remote and nothing is working-no bright image just a weak dull image w/no blue screen, no response from any buttons remote or on machine, fan works, a/v is open, all cables connected well/properly. Why won't it work?

The image processor must be getting old and worn out. Call Epson or go onto their website and see if it is  a dDIY project or if you will ned to send it in.

SOURCE: images has a blue color across the center

Wow, 3 in a row. As described on 2 other projector issues this is very similar to those others. I'll repeat the info here.

I assume this is an LCD. I don't remember the s4 being a DLP projector.

This sounds like the LCD panel used for the blue color has gone out. The image is made up of red, green and blue images layered upon the screen. If the blue panel has gone out then there is nothing filtering out the red light in the image.

It looks like yours has just a secone of the panel dying or comming loose from it's connector.

It could be a simple open and reconnect fix. I personally have never opened a projector, so I'm not going to walk you through it as I do not know how hard it would be to tinker with. It should eb a cheap fix for a true repair man though.

SOURCE: Epson powerlite 83+. It comes on, then the 'heat' light flashes

Go to http://files.support.epson.com/pdf/pl83pl/pl83pl00ug.pdf#page=80&view=FitV&pagemode=none page 80, "What to do when the lights flash" . If that doesn't do it or it's not clear, please get back to me.

Why is my epson powerlite 3020 beeping?

This usually comes from using an aftermarket bulb. Not sure if Epson intentionally engineered this annoyance or if it's from something inherent in the cheaper bulbs.

Epson powerlite home cinema 8100 problem with picture

Dark pictures after a lamp change normally indicate that the lamp isn't aligned properly, or that it has been touched with bare fingers and caused a black mark, or it's an inferior (budget) lamp.

The temperature sensor light is flashing on PowerLite Home Cinema 1080. How do I reset the temperature sensor without sending it to be reparied by an authorized Epson company.

Fist thing you need to do is check all the filters.
Take them out and use a vacuum cleaner on a gentle **** to clean out the dust.
Use the brush attachment also go around the projector and de dust all the grills.
