Question about Office Equipment & Supplies
My newish Canon PIXMA MG6250 prints perfectly until it comes to the last centimetre, then it starts to make regular, clicking noises and when the paper comes out there is black ink on the edge of the paper, sometimes on both edges, usually on just one side, the long side. This is very annoying when I print edge-to-edge prints as I can't use the prints. It never does it with any other of the ink colour, only black. I have tried doing all the cleaning procedures, and tried with 3 different types of paper and tried changing the cartridge. Any suggestions welcome.

It seems like it may be a hardware problem, but the best bet for you would be to reinstall the printer drivers. It should fix it,

This problem is often caused by spilled toner. Open the printer, carefully remove the cartridge, and give it a few bursts of compressed air. Often running several pages or type through will also fix this. If it persists, replace the toner cartridge.
Hope this initial info/idea helps. Let me know for any clarifications.
