Question about Technics SC-DV290 System

TECHNICS SC-CH550 STEREO SYSTEM

System has started turning itself off when volume is turned up on both cd and tuner. This does not happen as soon as you increase volume but 1/2 minutes later. It continues to run ok if volume is kept down.

Doesn't matter what order the 3.5mm are wired up in. As long as one connects to another in a daisy chain, data will jump from one to the other to give remote operation or auto source changing

How can i put my tv threw my stereo i have yellow white and red in the back of tv and in the back of the stereo i have 2 white 2 red and 2 black pls can you help me

Since we're most concerned with the stereo sound, disregard colors and read the silkscreened legends for the connectors.

However you would be better to get your TV-related audio from the cable box in the same way. TV electronics is on the lo-fi end of the quality spectrum. And its own volume control may affect the output. If the TV has a setting to make the output FIXED, select it so you can turn the TV volume down and let the real speakers do the audio job.

Whichever you choose...

Connect Audio L and R Out from the TV to any convenient input (AUX?) on the Technics.

Technics SA-DV290 Amp. Sound cuts out as volume is increased

hello it sound like the output ic may be in trouble you may have just dry joint on the ic which just resolder it . or there could be a capacitor leaking or they may have swelled up in which you will have to replace. it's best to do some visual checks first i'e look for any burnt parts any capacitor with bulging tops

Wires may be crossed here. The positive and negative, make sure all connections are proper. Also if this is happening while say you are listening to music from an external source try to turn the volume down on the external device.

Technics ST-X302L tuner - Unit not powering on

i have the same unit and a similar problem, after a fall of the tuner on the floor while i was cleaning my room, first times the st-x302l was powering fine but after some minuts it quit alone.. now (i dont know why) it remains on but if there is an interruption of electricity it dont turn on anymore, it turn on only by removing the metal chassis and moving random the electronics.. i think it has some electronic contact or circuit break.. i brought it to a specialist in electronics and he told me the reparation would be too expensive so i prefer to try fix it by myself.
