Question about Epson Stylus 2200 InkJet Photo Printer
I had printed over half my portfolio (that is going to be part of a
packet I am mailing to a Grad School TOMORROW morning), and I stopped
at around 7 AM to sleep. I had been experiencing no problems until
now...and printed several sheets. But then, when I woke up and printed
my first sheet, the same old problem came back.
This has been a reoccurring problem, but whenever I leave it alone for a while (usually out of disgust), and come back to it months later, it works well.
There is a scan of the problem. More often than not it always has happened half way through a page like that, after I have printed several successful prints. I tried nozzle cleaning and checking, just to experience more barcode-looking things. I am at a total loss for options save throwing this thing out the window...which isn't really a helpful one.
Well, I turned it off for around 4 or 5 hours, tried it once more and it was working again. I'm not sure if it got overheated or merely needed some time to sort itself out, but every time it started doing it again I just opened the lid, waited a bit, and printed nozzle checks until it snapped out of it.
Funny thing, technology...
