Question about Televison & Video
Try unplugging set and or a box if used for a while and then plug power back to allow units to reboot to see if that will help--a box can cause odd issues.....

Its possible this could be resolve without taking the tv back. Make sure it's not the source. IE cable box, xbox or ps3 etc. Try swapping out wires. If all else fails, then one board should be the culprit. I believe (If my memory serves me correctly) the name of the board in the A-board. The input board. If its under warranty, then you may want to call for service.

Try Buying a aerial with a booster, u can purchase a inline booster at dicksmith or most large electrical stores.

Call Sharp for warrenty repair.This problem very common in Sharp tv.Picture will come on turn power on/off button few times will work.But still under Wareenty call to Sharp to replaced the main Tuner Signal board.
