Question about Motorola Mobility RAZR V3

1 Answer

I just got my phone and it has died; it won't turn on, and when I connect the charger to it and plug it in (and leave it for a few hours), nothing happens. Is my charger broken?

Iphone will not turn on! Shows Apple logo then fades out?

Leave the phone plugged into the car charger with the "plug into itunes" screen long enough to build a charge. It sounds like the phone is dying before it gets a chance to connect to itunes and start charging through the computer. If this does not work then the store clerk was correct and your battery will need replacing

My phone turned off yesterday n now won't turn back on at all. What do I do I need to use it today

Try these few simple steps.

1. Remove battery.
2. Wait 30 seconds then replace battery
3. Plug in your phone charger.
4. Leave for 10 minutes.

Now try to switch on your phone.

If it doesn't switch on, take back to where it was purchased.
It may just be a charger problem but it could also be charger port or phone hardware.

Phone battery died. after charging for 30 mins it still wont turn back on. This is the first time it has happened. Phone was never droped and there is no damge to the case of any kind. Phone is only 2...

Leave it on for longer, make sure the usb is connected properly to the iphone so you know for sure its charging. Also try the wall charger rather than a computer. I would leave it for a few hours at least. Sometimes when an iphone has gone really flat it will take a long time to charge to the stage where it can turn on again.
Also make sure it has gotten wet at some stage.

My gps 1470 won t come on. I pluged it to my computer w/usb and turn it on and nothing. I plug it in to my car and it would not turn on or recharge.

Sounds like a problem with your battery. My 1700 will not start up when I connect it, if I have let my battery completely discharge. I have to leave it on charge for half an hour before it will restart. I also have had to reset it on occasion. I suggest you leave it on charge with a charger that connects to your house (120volt to 5volt adapter). If you have one for your cell phone or any other device that uses the mini USB connection, this will work on your gps.

My phone battery died. I plugged it in to charge and now it won't turn back on.

Hello,

if you did not anything else then connect it on charger and the phone was fully functional before you did this, then try removing the battery and put it back. I don't think that it could be just damaged.

One more thing that it could be... leave the phone on charger for few hours if the phone was lying in a drawer, then it could be that battery was to empty to be able to charge it immediately.

If nothing of this help, try putting working battery in your phone and see if it works. If it works, then you need a new battery, otherwise something else is wrong with the phone.

Kind regards
Goran

No sign of phone charging

I finally have spoken to a very nice youn guy from Sonim Tech Support. He fixed my problem of the phone not turning on.

1. Take out the battery, plug in the mains charger and leave for a few minutes (they say 10 but it took my phone a couple of hours).

2. Eventually the charging symbol will come on the screen, either stady or flashing.

3. Immediately put the battery in the carcass (while it is still connected to the charger), and the charging symbol should stay on.

4. Leave the phone for a couple of hours, disconnect the charger, and the phone should turn on as normal.

This was explained to me, the reason for not turning on was that the software had crashed. This solved it.

well the battery might not bew the problem, the battery connecter or the charger may also be at fault, check those out too before getting a new phone.

LG rumor is not charging when plugged in

the problem is the contact points in the phone input are worn and possibly the contact points in the charge output are also worn, there's no way to fix it without replacing the charger input and/or getting a new charger. hate to say but might just need to replace the phone
