First check if the mouse red light is ON. If yes, it means the battery is fine.

Now check if there is a small point shaped button on both the keyboard and mouse underside. If there is, just press it for a few seconds with a ball pen or something similar. Try doing it a few times until the mouse and keyboard are detected.

That should hopefully solve the problem.

There should be a button on the wireless receiver. Hit that, and hit the buttons on the underside of both devices as well. That should sync them back up.

The wireless mouse works but the laser 5000

press connect on the wireless device...let go and then within 5 seconds press the button on the bottom of the keyboard. Repeat the same steps for the mouse whther its working or not. The problem usually is that the keyboard and mouse are on the same "Wireless Channel" and only resyncing them puts them on a seperate channel, hope this helps.

Make sure the batteries are good and then follow these instructions.

Normal 0 Press the Receiver button (and the lights will start flashing.
Then if the Keyboard isn't working, press the small RESET/CONNECT button on the back of the board to connect the keyboard to the receiver.

At the back of the mouse, there will be small flushed 'reset' button. Press that. It resets and reconfigures the connection. If it still doesn't work, the mouse has gone bad.

Microsoft wireless laser keyboard 6000 v2.0 keyboard not working

You have to press the button on the receiver that is directly connected to the computer. While doing this, press the connect button both the mouse and the keyboard. I did this and now my keyboard is working, despite the battery indicator turning itself off a few seconds after I install it.

Hope this solves your problem.

Seems like new batteries did the trick. Should start simple.

But I am not totally convinced. I will keep an eye on it.
