SOURCE: I Have a pro force 6000 that has no spark at the

First check and see if you have any cracks on the cable then replace the sparkplug with new one but make sure that the setting the correct one…before you do this you may try a test but you must be very careful…No kids around, clear place outdoors, etc .
After checking, the cables unscrew the sparkplug and put very small amount of gas in then put back the sparkplug “the same one” and see if you get a sound as backfire if yes that mean it is working good. That should take care of it…let me know and again be very careful and not too much gas

I have a polaris ranger 6x6 500cc the plug in it now is a ngk bkr5e 7938. a friend gave me 2 unused ngk b7e s plugs and said that they wood run fine. Are these 2 ngk b7e s ok or what?

The figure 7 represents the heat range of the plug. Usually it is unwise to deviate from specifications unless problems force choosing a different heat range. If the spark plug regularly fouls then a hotter spark plug could improve the problem - with NGK that would mean moving from 5 to 4.

Any move must be made with care to avoid the engine damage possible if the spark plug is too hot.

Hot and cold plugs, incidentally, indicate the amount of heat the spark plug dissipates from the centre to the body and doesn't affect the temperature of the engine. Broadly cool running engines need hot spark plugs and hot running engines need cold plugs so in each case the spark plug nose will achieve the self-cleaning temperature without becoming too heated.

Moving from a 5 heat range to a 7 (NGK) is moving to a colder plug so yes it will run fine, at least for a while, though you could find plug fouling might be a problem...

Ngk spark plug gap chart

usually around .028" - .032"..

r = resistor
b=thread size = 14mm
7 = heat range - NGK, the lower the number the hotter the plug. Other mfg. are opposite - higher number=hotter
h = thread length =1/2"

These are THE important ones... the rest are mfg. specifics

I what to change my spark plugs for my 1997 honda passport

Visit your local parts store and purchase a set of ND or NGK plugs. DO NOT let them talk you into platinum plugs, "triple fire" plugs, Bosch, or anything else! Japanese plugs are made to a different standard than others, and anything other than ND or NGK will not give you top performance or mileage. To do the change, you'll need a 3/8-inch socket wrench and a spark plug socket. You do NOT need a torque wrench. Back the plugs out one at a time, and replace each one before moving on to the next. . Note the resistance when you back the plugs off, and tighten each with the approximate force that it took to remove them. If your plug wires are original you might want to replace them as well. Try to get a set of Japanese wires, but good quality American wires will do. Be sure to replace/connect the wires one at a time so you don't cross-connect anything.

All Pro Heater

most parts for kero heaters are interchangable. go to desatech dot com for parts. check for a reset button for your heater. if no reset, does the fan run? your unit can use one of two ignition parts. a spark generator with a spark plug or a hot surface igniter. the unit uses a cad cell flame detector. you might need to replace this.
