Condensation from the airconditioning system is supposed to leak out from the drain hose which runs from the interior, down to the exterior of the bulkhead can become trapped if that drainage hose has become blocked, or if it has become dislodged.
So the fan unit won't produce condensation, but condensation if not flowing out correctly can accumulate there on some models.

SOURCE: 2000 oldsmobile Intrigue V6

This could be a # of problems but try these: Remove gas cap and carefully inspect it and the fuel filler neck for small cracks and/or distortion/dirt. Under the hood there is a small green cap which is the test port for the evap system, remove it and check the schrader valve to be sure its tight ( left hand threads!!!). Check all hoses attached to this for cracks/breaks.Other than this a diagnostic will have to be ran with a smoke machine to pin point leaks or valve/switch/solenoid/canister failure.

SOURCE: diagram for removing a tensioner from 99 Olds Intrigue 3.8

Either in the center of the tension pulley or on the arm that the tension pulley is bolted to there is a square hole that is the size of the square on a 1/2" ratchet. Take a 1/2" ratchet and stick it in that hole and I think most of them you put it in the tighten position and pull on the ratchet. the tension will release and you can remove the belt.

SOURCE: I need to replace the O2 sensor on my 99

it depends on which o2 sensor is bad. you have 2 on your car ones an upstream o2 sensor which is before catalyic convertor the other is a downstreem o2 which is located after the cat. they both range anywhere from 50.00 to 100.00 a peice. and there is a special tool to buy to change it. this is what it looks like. 945a39f.jpg if you don't mind jacking your car up and placing jack stands under the car to support it. you should be able to replace it. besure to spray it real good with some penatrating oil like wd40 and let it soak for a while before trying to remove it.

99 Olds intrigue heater fan now only has 1 speed(high). Would this be the fan or the heater control panel?

I just did this fix to mine. It is the blower motor resistor that is located between the fan motor and the firewall. You will have to remove the trim panel, under the dash. Then you will be able to remove the fan motor. The fan plugs directly into the resistor. You can get the part at checker for about $32.

99 Olds Intrigue, blower fan resistor

It will burn out. Air flow in the heater box cools the resistor. These resistors get very hot when the blower is running.
