Have a cal spa and error code OH came up. I shut down the spa for a day and error code is still there and water is no longer hot

Sounds like your high limit has tripped. Most cal spas have a red stem/button on the front of the control box. If you press this in then it will reset and you will be able to heat the spa. You'll have to remove a panel to get to the control box as it is under the spa. It may have tripped because the thermostat is bad and it continued to heat above 104 degrees. Fault code 5n1

I'm assuming this is a Cal Spa? I'm going to reply to this but I'm willing to bet this issue resolved itself?
Error code of Sn1 ("Sensor 1"- Spa is shut down. High-limit sensor is not working.)
This could be a temporary condition. If not, your high limit sensor is bad. "SN" means your spa has a sensor error and "1" means it's the high limit sensor. Without knowing the year of your spa I don't know which manual to give you but the link below has just about every Cal Spa manual available.

Plugged in our EZ Spa for first time - panel shows 'SN'

Open your drain for a moment till you get water or force water into the skimmer. If you have an air lock in the pipes this will stop the spa from working.

We have a Great Lakes spa with a Balboa control panel, manufactured in 1992. When you plug the spa in, it will shut down and read Sn on the topside control panel. We have replaced the high limit/temp...

Contact Balboa's Customer support department directly at 800-645-3201, follow the prompts to customer tech support (or press 0 and ask for customer support). You will need to be at the spa, control panel open and ready to read off the chip number, and you will need to be proficient with a test meter (AC voltage). The SN error is related to a bad sensor(s), but can also indicate a failed board. An incorrect sensor set will also create this problem, so confirm you used the exact or compatible replacement. If the SN code issue is no longer a problem, but the spa is still not heating, look and see if the heater led is on. If it is, you likely have some burned relays on the board, which can be replaced cheaper than replacing the board. If you need more help, email me at info@coastsideservices.com

I have a dream maker and my heater will not turn on. I had this problem once before when I drained it. However I cannot get the SN error code to go away. Any help would be great

Dream Makers do not have traditonal heaters. You may have an airlock. Look for a plug on top of the pump or some part of the plumbing, loosen to let the air out.

What does oh mean on hot tub a cal spa

'OH' means 'over-heat'.

Basically the high-limit temperature sensor has detected a temperature far in excess of what it should be.

Check the filter(s), water flow, pump etc....

Ian.
