If you're really brave, get some superglue and put it on the end of a toothpick or something stronger and attach it to the broken bit. wait a few minutes then pull it out. However, I recommend you to bring it to a service center instead, as manually doing it may result in damage.

SOURCE: speaker/headphone jack won't work

It may not be the problem of sound card,

try following:

1) try uninstalling/reinstalling the sound drivers from device manager.

2) put the laptop to sleep(standby) mode and than wake up.

Please visit http://www.fixya.com/support/t1728089-speakers_work_but_headphone_jack for more details..

Also remove the battery and any other removeable plates below the notebook to check for additional screws. Check if there are any rubberized "feet" or plugs covering access to still more screws. Keep screws and their locations organized in case they are different length.

My headphone jacks doesn't work on my 5517. How can I replace soundcard?

You cannot replace the sound card as it is integral to the mainboard, the only way to resolve the issue is to replace the mainboard, but you could always try taking the laptop to a reputable repair tech who may be able to re-work the headphone socket.

Yamaha CP 300 broken headphone jack

Some keyboards use the amp output sockets for headphone use.
You might need some adapters for your headphones.
If it fell in, you would see an empty hole. This would be unlikely because it is held on by two screws. If all fails, buy an amp with a headphone jack input. Plug the keyboard into the amp and use the amps jack.

My headphone jack is broken on my Dell Latitude Cpx J & i have no sound through my speakers because of this. Is their a way i can change something in the settings so the sound plays through my laptop...

It is a mecanical problem, not in settings. The laptop's headphone jacks have builted-in switches that disconnect internal speackers when the headphone jack is plugged in. You need to replase headphone jack with a new one or manually desactivate the swith - must to get ino your laptop and have skills in work with soldiering iron

Headphone jack broken speakers wont work

Yes, since the Headphone pin is stuck in the Jack, you are not getting audio from Speakers.

You should have noticed that connecting the headphones to the Jack will block the audio coming from the Speakers and the same is the current situation.

You can either try removing the blocked part using a Tweaser or get it repaired.

My psp speakers dont work the head phone jack came loose and only plays out of one head phone and the up joystick doest go up all the way in a game so i walk slow, can i fix these problems and how ???

You have either what is called a dry joint on the headphone socket or the headphone socket is broken.

When you plug the headphones in it switches off the speakers, so if the socket gets damaged or becomes disconnected from the board the speakers will also not work.

you need someone with VERY good soldering skills and a spare headphone socket to repair or replace the socket

Couldnt say whats happening with the joystick, maybe a bit of the headphone socket has got jammed in it, you probably wont find out untill the psp is opened up
