Question about York Exercise & Fitness
Hello, My York treadmill powers up but the display just flashes and beeps continuously. I am handy with a screwdriver and multimeter but don't know where to start looking. Any help would be most appreciated, thanks

SOURCE: I have a York z16
LS or L5 error is the speed sensor. Because it is such a vague code I can't just tell you exactly what's wrong with it. I can tell you what it may be.
If you are lucky it's just a fuse. If you have belt movement, it's likely that its just a fuse. If there is no belt movement, it can be a computer failure. the MCB will need replacing.
If you have belt movement and you check the fuse, and its not blown, then the speed sensor is no good and needs replacement.
In most cases its a fuse.
Good luck, hope this helps!
