Y my key board & mouse dont work wen i open my cpu

Make sure you have them in the correct ports in the back of the computer. If the end that goes into the back of the computer is round then you have PS2 serial type keyboard and mouse. If it is flat you have usb type mouse and keyboard. If it is round, the keyboard goes into the purple colored port and the mouse goes into the green port. If you put them in or remove them while the computer is on you will have to reboot the computer. They are not plug and play like the usb types.

If they still don't work try booting up in Safe Mode.

Turn off the computer, then hit the power button to turn it back on and immediately start hitting the F8 key repeatedly until you see SAFE MODE. Take the Safe Mode option and let it boot up. Safe Mode will look different to you, the screen will be darker and the icons bigger, this is normal. If the work in Safe Mode then you probably have a virus or infection that has hijacked the keyboard.

Take the steps above to reboot in Safe Mode, but this time when the safe mode options appear, select Safe Mode With Networking option (this will give you internet connectivity). Open your internet browser when it finishes booting up and download and install MalwareBytes.

Go to www.google.com and in the search box type: "Download cnet Malwarebytes" (without the quotes). Download and install malwarebytes from the sites download.cnet/malwarebytes. When the site opens up click on the Green Download button on the left. Do not click the Red Download button, that's junk. When it finishes installing the Gui Interface will open up with an offer to Accept a Trial Version or Decline. CLICK DECLINE you want the totally free version. Run a QUICK SCAN. As it scans, if it finds infections the number will be in red. When it finishes scanning, click SHOW RESULTS. A notepad text document will open up showing you the results. You can close the text document and go back to the Gui Interface where you will click REMOVE SELECTED RESULTS. The objects will already be selected for you. When it finishes removing the objects click ok and it will sometimes reboot your machine.

My HP W1907 monitor works fine until I try to play The Sims 3 game. I play for several minutes or hours and the monitor shows the message that it is going to sleep and the light on the monitor goes...

Hi there. I had the same problem months ago when I try to play high end games like Sims 3 my monitor goes into power saving mode. I tried to check every possible causes of the problem. It could be that your computer is overheating try to clean your computer and check if your fans still works. Second it could me your power supply malfunctioning, maybe it does not meet the required power to make your game work. Last cause is your video card malfunctioning, what I did is to just buy a new video card and it works.
If you do not have spare power supply or video card you can go to a computer repair shop for them to check the possible problem that causes it to go into power saving mode. It can also save you money before you can buy a new one.
Hope this helps, Have a good day!

I beleive that this is a virus. some Viruses corrupt the device settings on a mouse or keyboard. you will to try to boot the computer in safe mode. to this when you tun the computer on press the F8 btton on the keyboard. then select safe mode with networking and hit enter. when the computer boots up you will need to run a virus scan. another option is to take the hard drive out of the computer and put it in another computer and run a virus scan on it. Viruses that usually cause this type of problems are redirect viruses found when searching on google.

I cannot use my keyboard and mouse. Something is wrong with my devices

Make sure the keyboard is working in bios. When you boot the computer hit f2 or Del. key to make sure the keyboard is working. Also make a note that the keyboards light blink while turning on the pc.

If you are able to go to BIOS that means the keyboard is working fine.

Boot your computer in safe mode by tapping F8 key while the computer is booting. Select safe mode and check if the keyboard and mouse is working in safe mode.

If it is working in safe mode. Do a system restore to a date where everthing was working fine.

Please revert with the result of above .

try restoring your comp to a previous time when it was working. if it doesn`t work don`t worry just follow the steps below. In any case you have to clean virus out of your computer.
download, install and run this software.after running the scan clean all the infections and restart your comp.
