SOURCE: Dirt Devil Featherlite Bagless Upright

Check the brush roll, are the bristles worn down? Check the belt also, if it is stretched, then it won't drive the brush roll like it should.

SOURCE: The Dirt Devil 085850 doesn't pick up anything!

the intake hose is clogged thats the clear looking hose that comes up from the bottom on the back side.you will need a coat hanger wither the end bent so its rounded.on the back where you sere the clear hose it conects to a fitting that is held in by one or 2 screws take them out and work the coat hanger down through the intake hose.you should be able to push the clog out through the bottom

SOURCE: I have a dirt devil featherlite bagless vacuum;

there are 3 screws 2 on the left side behind the hose and 1 on the right back by the wheel.that will take the cover off.if you need to get into the bottom there is a screw on the bottom plate in the area where it looks like the belt travels.is the brush roller turning if not then your belt is probably broke.before you replace the belt clean off the motor shaft and get the old rubber off it otherwise the new belt won't last long.please leave feedback .be sure to clean your filter inside the dirt cup
