How do I unclog the vacuum? The canisters are clean but the bottom has no suction.

Hi, it's Allie from Crucial Vacuum!

There are a few potential solutions you should try. Start by checking your unit's brushroll and clear it of any tangled hair strands or debris that my be blocking the airway. Follow by checking the internal hose for any blockages.

If the unit's suction is still not normal, the problem could be related to your filtered bag. Bags should be changed frequently and should not be left unchanged and half way filled for a long period inside your unit.

My rainboe has no suction

The hose could be clogged. Check the suction on the main unit without any hoses connected. If that seems good, then connect a hose and check suction again at the end of hose. If suction is still good and you are having issues when using the power nozzle, then open up the bottom of the power nozzle to check for clog.

Power but not sucking up..

You have to check two thins 1 that none of the hoses or filters are clogged on the unit. This is not always so easy but the entire run of the hose till the bottom must be clear. 2 You have to have the door th the bag closed properly. If there ais any opening you will lose suction to that opening

The low speed for bare floors won't work at all. The regular speed for vacuuming carpets turns on but spits items back out after a little bit.

An advice is more like it. What I do in a situation like that is to see if the air flows freely into the machine to see it here is an ubstruction or that the bag is full.. If that is OK II put the brush "down" and high speed on and sweepthe floor.
Then there is always the "troubleshooting" chapter in the manual. If the manual is lost in it´s printed form then look for Electrolux on the "net" there you will find your make, hopefully.

I can't get the solution to spray or suction from the floor . the hand attachment will spray somewhat and suction, but not from the floor. i have the blue 9200

If it is only a problem with the floor sprayer, this suggests that the nozzles or tubes to the floor unit are clogged. Take off the water storage part, and you'll see two red clips (these are the floor nozzles). Squeeze and pop these out, and see if they are clogged.

If that is not the issue, open the unit up and see if the tubing supplying the front (floor) nozzles are clogged.

Please let me know if this was the issue or not.

Ensure you have water in tank and solution (or water in solution tank). When you start the vacuum up, the pump starts to prime itself. If you have air in the system, it takes a little longer to prime. Allow the vacuum to run for 1 minute before attempting to pull the trigger. Then pull the trigger.
If this doesn't work, you'll need to open the unit up and check the hoses for any clogs, and next test the pump to see if it is functioning.

Easy Flo Central vacuum will still work at about

Yes you can easily test for a clog, and a crack for that matter.

to test for a clog push a dry garden hose through the entire system until it comes out at the other end.

to test for a crack, Disconnect the pipe that comes from the house to the central vac unit. Turn on the unit and put your hand over the opening directly at the central vac unit.(Using the utility inlet at the unit will not accomplish the same thing.)
  • Step 2 If your suction is good, then reconnect the tubing and turn on the switch at the unit. If there is no switch, plug your central vacuum hose into one of your inlets to start the system. Then have someone completely seal the hose with their hand. While the unit is running go to the exhaust. With everything closed you should feel almost nothing coming from the exhaust. If you feel very little exhaust, then you do not have a leak

I have a Bissell powersteamer proheat. The problem is that the unit will no longer spray water/cleaner out of the bottom of the unit.

Check to see if water will squirt out of the hose, if it does, then take the handle apart, the heater may be clogged. Once you get to the heater, take off the 2 water lines, dig out the clog, try to blow thru the heater to make sure it is open, then put back together. Otherwise it could be the belt, pump, seal not in place on the bottom of the tank or a clogged water line.

Either the filters are clogged, the hose has a clog in it, or the dirt inlet down by the brush roll is clogged. Pull the hose off and see if you have suction at the end of the hose, that will tell you which way to look for a clog.
