SOURCE: No heat coming from Amana Dryer
2 screws at the bottom of front panel if no screws there, then pry top off with wide flat screw driver then look inside toward top of front panel remove two more screws and the front should lift right out then remove screw/s in center of drum and lift out of cabinet there should be your heat element

Start at the bottom. Remove lower panel then remove the door panel that will expose the 2 screws that secure the top.

Testimonial: "thank you , I was trying to pry the top off on the two outside corners like I use to do on our Whrilpool dryer"
I just replaced mine by taking the bottom off, but in hindsight I think I should have been able to do it by just removing the lower front panel. With long arms, you should be able to reach back and loosen the two bolts holding it in place. Good luck!
