What type of mobile phone(s) do you have? If more than one, are both failing to send/ receive or just one?

    Also, who is your carrier?

2.switch on ur mobile bluetooth and search for any paired device u will receive a prompt message as soon as ur system detects the mobile and will ask u to enter the password type the same password which the system will generate and ur mobile will be paired u can then select a game file and send it in ur mobile from the PC via the dongle as soon as the file is copied u will receive a message in the mobile to install it type yes and there u go the game will be installed.
u can also try using another phone switch on the bluetooth device of the other phone and copy the file in the targeted phone via the bluetooth .was this useful to u if yes pls do rate my solution and u can also send ur views via the testimonials thanx fr visiting fixya

When I want to receive files from another mobile, my phone can not be recognized; I have checked the" the device is visible to other devices" already; but it does'nt work. i have reset the phone...

If you're trying to send/receive files via Bluetooth, you'll need to go into the Windows Marketplace and download a Bluetooth File Send application. The Bluetooth that comes with most mobile phones is restricted to using Bluetooth Headsets.

I have a bluetooth dongle. problem is i can only send files from my mobile phone (bluetooth enabled) to my pc and not vice versa. the bluetooth dongle (connected to my pc) can't search for other bluetooth...

You need to give more info, I'm afraid.

What type of phone do you have? What OS does it run? What kind of OS does your PC have? Did your adapter come with software? You say you can send files from your phone to your PC, but then you say that the PC doesn't the phone (?????!)

Since I don't have any clarification, here's some things you can try:

- Try shutting down and re-starting both your devices with the adapter still in. Try taking the adapater out, re-starting and then plugging the adapter in.

- Re-install or update the software for your adapter. If you decide to re-install, make sure you remove all th eold files completely. If it's plug and play, you can use device manager (assuming you have Windows) to find better software.

- Make sure your phone has the proper permissions set to receive files from your adapter. Since I do not know your phone model, try to google it.

- Try opening Bluetooth Devices in Control Panel. Click on Options and make sure you've enabled the PC to accept files from your mobile.

Bluetooth isn't two way automatic communication. Both devices that are using Bluetooth to communicate must individually have permissions set for the receiving of files from each device it connects to. You can send files all day long, but if the device youre sending to isnt set up to receive, it obviously won't work. Make sure you've enabled it in both the PC and the mobile.

Good luck.

How should i send or receive data from other mobile.

  1. Use a cellphone with Bluetooth (wireless connection), or even a USB connection (which is a computer port). These are all good ways to communicate with other devices.
  2. If your computer does not have the hardware for a Bluetooth connection, then buy the adaptor, sometimes called a 'dongle'. The adapter plugs into a USB port. It will be quite cheap, something like 10 to 20 American dollars. This adapter will have software for the connection process, which lets you transfer files from the computer to your phone, and the other way around.
  3. Make sure your computer is equipped with Bluetooth technology (either integrated into the machine or a USB dongle) and active.
  4. Turn on Bluetooth on your mobile device.
  5. Turn on your phone and go into 'Settings' in the Main Menu
  6. Keep going down until you find 'Bluetooth' (Sometimes it may be under 'Connectivity)
  7. Click on it and find 'Turn Bluetooth on' (or something similar) and press 'On'. You can now send and receive files. Once you receive a file, it will most likely be under 'Received Files'. This option can often be found in the Settings or Connectivity menu of your phone.
  8. Pair your computer with your mobile device by making both devices discoverable (also known as visible or unhidden) in the Bluetooth options. Once both are visible, search for Bluetooth devices on your mobile phone
  9. Locate the name of your computer in the results list and select it.
  10. Enter a 4 to 8 digit passcode of your own choosing and press continue.
  11. Once your devices are paired, you can send and receive files.
  12. There are several methods to send a file to your mobile device. One method is to copy the file from your computer, navigate to your mobile device (often found in My Computer or My Bluetooth Places) and then paste the file to the phone. Another option is to right-click on the desired file and select Send To --> Bluetooth Device --> (mobile phone's name).
  13. While the file is being transferred, you should see a progress bar on your computer and/or phone. Once the file is finished transferring, a message stating such should show up on your device's screen.
  14. Find the transferred file on your mobile phone by using the phone's built-in file explorer.

Cannot receive and send file using bluetooth from HP mini 1000

Did you checked the Blutetooth authentication settings? Inside settings, there will be some settings related to FTP which will be readonly by default. Hence it won't allow to send or receive file. Please change the settings and revert to me if you have any clarifications.
