Question about 2wire HomePortal 1800HG Router (1000400229000)
I'm running software version 3.7.5 and when I access the router there is no option to change internet access controls along the top menu. Looking on the 2wire website I found the url for it should be http://home/access_control/ but putting that in my address bar gets me a 404 error. Thanks, Kitro
If you are using that version...type in 192.168.1.254 on ur address bar..thats the 2wire homepage

That means that the routers ip address has changed as the default address is the same as the web address you posted. Try typing in the address 172.16.0.1 without any www. or anything. a clue as to the router address will be found out by looking at your own pcs ip address in the properties of your network card and selecting the support tab, if your pcs ip address is 126.96.36.199 for example you know your routers address will be more than likely the same first seven numbers, then the last one will probably be '1'
