How to install the water for the ice maker

To hook up an water supply to an ice maker falls under two catagories. The first being that a water supply valve is already present behind the machine and therefore all you have to do is get a water line, preferably a braided steel ice maker line that can be purchased at home depot or lowes. Then you just sonnect the water line to the water supply at the wall the to the water valve on the machine, located on the lower right or left side in the back. The second scenario is yoo don't have a supply line, and in that case your going to have to locate the nearest water line, most likely under the sink, and you'll have to run a line. They have an ice maker installation kit at home depot and lowes, and you may have to drill a hole through the cabinet to make the line unseen, or even through the floor and back up again. Either way its not a difficult task, just takes time and patience. Good luck.

My Kenmore side by side fridge #596.55669500 is leaking through the water outlet in the door. Not constantly but often enough to be a problem. What could cause this and is it something I can repair myself?

If its dripping water mostly after using Changing the water solenoid in the back will fix the problem, Thats the blue valve on the back that is connected to the water supply line.
If its turning on intermittently and dispensing water you may have to replace the control board for the dispenser.
Its either hard water causing the fill valve(Solenoid) to not close all the way or an electrical current opening the valve .

My matag model # mzd2766ge side by side has been leaking water on the floor. This happens only sometimes but by the time we notice its a big puddle on the floor under my cabinets. is something blocked up...

if it has ice/water in the unit, check the hoses going from the supply line at the inlet valve on the refrigerator rear section,if theres a hole in the tube, when the ice maker calls for water to fill the ice trays it will leak out this pin hole during the time the water supply valve is open and then shut off when the valve closes due to no pressure on the line then, thats probably the reason the puddles not always there

My washer is starting normally and agitate for the first cycle but does not refill water to rinse the clothes. the cold water faucet can't supply the washer.I checked it if there is something clogging...

you probably have low flow hoses I don't like them they are guaranteed not to over flow but they fail so often, or maybe the water inlet is faulty ( cold side) if water comes out the faucet at the wall, then the issue is at hose or valve, close your water faucet then get a bucket and take loose the hose from the rear of washer ( unplug washer please) place hose in bucket and with one hand hold it in then open the water faucet at wall if water comes out then the water inlet at machine is faulty, if no water comes out then you have a low flow hose replace them with the stainless but not low flow.

Connect Saeco Incanto Classico machine directly to water source

In our shop we come off the treated water supply with a water pressure regulator (adjusted to a very low pressure)and use a barbed fitting to connect to the hose inside the machine. You should be able to do something similar by removing the water tank seat on the body of the machibne and using the existing hole to connect your water. If you need something more specific contact
