Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

SOURCE: My boombox is displaying the word "Protect" in the display. ???

The protect message indicates that there is a problem with the final stage of the amplifier section. This unit will require repair as a reset will not clear this. There is an audio amp IC inside that needs to be replaced. Figure on about $15 or so for the part.

this is a V22 chassis circa 2003/2004
you could have an issue in 1 or multiple circuits. it is key if you can determine any error code. Error code is determined by blinking LEDs on front of unit after it shuts down. It will blink a certain number of times, pause then blink another certain number of times. It repeats this cycle 5 times.
12...no fault detected
21...X-Ray protect
22...short circuit protect

23...deflection circuit
Continuous flash...most likely DM circuit.

Why does the monitor's red and green light keeps blinking

Unplug, let it sit for a minute and plug back in. Ours does that when power is interrupted.

Code 22 indicates that your set is in shut down due to what is called Short Protect. The most likely cause is the Converge Ic's drawing too much current and opening one or 2 fuses. Normal repair cost varies by area and servicer. Expect 250 to 350 plus the service call. I normally do this on site.

Tv mitsubishi ws-65315 doesnt turn on,only green light

Good Day, cutito35; 1. This model is equipped with a keyboard lock feature; this can be mistaken as a no power condition. To unlock the keyboard press and hold the "menu" button on the front panel for 10 seconds. 2. (Power LED may be on after plug in) check for no less than 4.4 volts DC at pin 3 of PC9A21 on the Power PCB, if low or missing replace PC9A21 part # 268P058020. 2.This model is also equipped with a self-diagnosis feature to help with diagnosis of shutdown problems. To activate this turn the unit on let it shutdown then press the input and menu buttons on the front panel simultaneously and hold them in for 5 seconds after 5 seconds the power LED on the front panel will blink a two digit sequence. This will be one set of blinks a short pause then another set of blinks, this will repeat 5 times. 1 - 2 = no error detected 2 - 1 = X-ray protect (high voltage or beam current) 2 - 2 = Short protect (short protect monitors low voltage supplies) 2 - 3 = Deflection protect (this could be loss of vertical or horizontal deflection) 2 - 4 = Vertical protect (usually loss of vertical from the source) 1. Shutdown at power with self diagnosis error 2-2. Check for open fuses F9A04 and F9A05 part # 283P144080 on the +24 and -24 volt lines. If the fuses are open the convergence output circuit would be suspect. 2. Shutdown at power with self diagnosis error 2-1. At power on check for 12-volts DC at connector KH pin 8, if missing check IC9C51 part # 270P990010 and L9C52 part # 441D009020 on the Signal PCB. Good Luck, big IRISH.

SHUTDOWN AT POWER WITH SELF DIAGNOSIS ERROR 2 2. CHECK FOR LEAKY C9A60 470 PF 1000 V PART # 154P400030, PARALLEL TO D9A57 ON THE POWER PCB. 2. SHUTDOWN AT POWER WITH SELF DIAGNOSIS ERROR 2 2. CHECK FOR OPEN FUSES F9A04 AND F9A05 PART # 283P043090 ON THE +24 AND -24 VOLT LINES. IF THE FUSES ARE OPEN THE CONVERGENCE OUTPUT CIRCUIT WOULD BE SUSPECT. 1. Check for 12 volts DC (AC-off detect) at pin 3 of PC9A21, if missing replace PC9A21 part # 268P058020 on the Power PCB. 2. LED does not blink at plug in. Check for 5-volts DC at connector RF pin 3 (system reset) if low or missing suspect the reset switch S7L20 part # 432P089010 on the Control PCB. 3.LED does not stop blinking after plug in. Check for 12 volts at connect or PF pin 10 and 28 volts at connector PF pin 11, if the supplies are correct suspect a problem in the DM Assembly (part # 955C230002) 4. LED does not stop blinking after plug in. Check C9B01, C9B02, C9B03, C9B13, C9B14, C9B17 and C9B18 (1000 UFD, 16V, 105C) on the DM Power PCB located within the DM Assembly. If they are bad, replace them with part # 181P734030 (680 uFD, 16V, 105C). See Service Tip VS-76 5. LED stops blinking after 70 seconds of plug in but will not power on. This model is equipped with a keyboard lock feature; this can be mistaken as a no power condition. To unlock the keyboard press and hold the "menu" button on the front panel for 10 seconds 6. LED stops blinking after 70 seconds of plug in but will not power on. Check for 4.7 volts DC at connector RF pin 4 and 5 on the Signal PCB if low suspect problems with the switches/buttons on the Control PCB part # 935D587002 7. LED stops blinking after 70 seconds of plug in but will not power on. Keyboard is not locked and key inputs at connector RF pin 4 and 5 check good suspect the E2P PCB part # 935C978002. Good Luck, big IRISH.

No power, power supply & motherboard green light blinking

I had the same exact problem for the same exact reason. Plug the power cable into the back. Open up the side of the case and unplug all the wires that the power supply plugs into. The motherboard, harddrive, cd & dvd drives, everything. wait about 10 minutes and plug them back in, plugging the BIG cable that connects to the motherboard back in LAST. This will make the light go from blinking to solid. I think it is a safety? to protect the motherboard from damage.
