Question about Buffalo Technology N-Technology Wireless-N150 Ultra-Compact USB 2.0 Adapter WLI-UC-GNM
I have OS Windows 8 installed on my Desktop. I am unable to load the drivers for Buffalo Technology N-Technology Wireless-N150 Ultra-Compact USB 2.0 Adapter WLI-UC-GNM. Is it a mis match ?
Make sure you are on Windows 8 Desktop. Try download the Buffalo WLI-UC-GNM_E-105 driver and run setup.exe with XP SP3 compatible. After the installation, your Wireless-N150 Ultra-Compact USB 2.0 Adapter will be working fine in OS Windows 8.

There should have been drivers with it when you bought it. If not, here's a link: http://www.opendrivers.com/driver/234540/buffalo-wli-u2-kg54-ai-wireless-usb2.0-adapter-driver-1.01.02.0002-windows-98se-me-2000-xp-free-download.html If you install these drivers, your computer should detect the device. You will, though, still need a modem to be able to connect to the internet. I hope this helps, and if not, post back here, Yannick.

Restart your Compaq Evo N1020v laptop without the card inserted. Go into the BIOS (by hitting F10), change the UMA Frame Buffer Size from 32MB to 64MB (located in the Advanced menu), reboot and install the card drivers and insert thecard. This should fix the problem.

I had same problem with my Buffalo, my computer freeze after some time I was not working with it,most certainly when I watched movies. You might have a problem with USB power saving, I solved it and it works fine for me now. Go to deviece manager, find USB root hub device, list its properties and at power managment tab, uncheck Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power. Please let me know if it works for you too email@example.com
