SOURCE: I have a No.359 Won't stay running, I put new

The carb screws have anti tamper sleeves on ( one red one white ) to adjust the screws you need to draw the caps back, you can do this with a small self tapping screw, screw it into the centre of the cap, when it hits the adjuster underneath the cap will draw back as you carry on screwing it in, only pull the cap back far enough ( approx half way ) you can then remove the screw and insert a 2mm flat blade screw driver through the centre of the cap, the adjuster underneath will now turn, the reason not to take the can right off is because the screws are only 2mm across, and it is near impossible to adjust the saw whilst it is running.

I have an older Husqvarna 359 etech saw and its leaking bar oil from below the clutch plate but it is not spraying oil on the bar like it should be? What is the problem here?

Sounds like you have some sawdust under the plate between the body of the saw and the plate that goes against the bar take bar off look at plate that has two rievits on it clean out behind that don't remove the plate just lift it slightly and use air or feeler gauge or something very thin ..
Sometimes little wood chips get stuck in there and don't let the oil go down the bar

359 carburator recall

I do not find a recall for the 359 carburetor. However, if you feel there is a recall, you can search the CPC website. I could not find anything.

I need documentation to set neck adjustment and intonation for a Gibson ES-359 custom. It doesn't seem that Gibson has anything readily available.

Intonation is easy if you have an electronic tuner, and instructions for a Les Paul style guitar will be close enough. Same with neck adjustment, if it is a set neck, use the Les Paul info. If a bolt on neck, everything but the neck angle is still relevant.

My 359 etech will start running bad after cuting one or two sticks of wood then die. If it sets until the next day It will again start. It has a good blue spark even when it won't run. It won't even...

If it still has a good spark it must be a fuel issue, replace the filter in the fuel tank check the fuel hose up to the carb for cracks or splits, if this does not help the next step is to service the carb, let me know if you need help with this.

I have a fairly new 359 e-tech chainsaw it starts but won't run I've changed the filter.

It sounds like a fuel starvation issue, remove the fuel hose from the tank and replace the filter on the end, check the fuel hose up to the carb, any sign of splits, cracks or fuel escape and the pipe needs replacing, it may be just a case of richening the mixture via the carb screws, unfortunatly the screws have anti tamper sleeves on them, they will have to be drawn back to adjust the carb, this may be a dealer adjustment.

Piston seizure in Husky 359 chain saw-how to remove old top end, evaluate damage and install new piston and ring or all new top end.

Probably going to be a paired piston&cylinder http://www.ebay.com/itm/HUSQVARNA-359-357-CYLINDER-AND-PISTON-KIT-47MM-/140580138020
you will need to replace both.. remove your muffler and see scorched(black streaks) piston, fused rings. Remove air filter and carb to see scored cylinder wall(on hot side)
