Question about Sanyo PLC-XU74 LCD Projector
When the power button is pushed the power light turns green, the fan starts running but, the projection lamp does not light. After 1min or so the fan stops and the red power light flashes.

one or more of the fans may not be working right. also, the temp sensor may be shot. if the last time you used it it wasn't shut down properly, it may still be in cool-down mode.

There may be a burnt capacitor on the circuit board. If you are savy in electronics and soldering you may be abel to replace yourself if you can determine which one it is and find an exact replacement. I don't believe there are too many on the board. Otherwise take to a repair shop and have them check out the capacitors.
