Question about Linksys EtherFast EZXS55W 5x10/100 Mbps Networking Switch
I would like to know how to set up my desktop with a laptop so that they both have internet at the same time, using my linksys EZXS55W 5x10/100 network switch. I've been trying to set it up myself, but all I get is either the desktop has a connection to the internet and the laptop doesn't or vice versa. Thank you in advance for any help you can give me.
If your provider uses the connection through Modem, then you can access only one system at a time.
So please check with the ISP provider, however you can share the existing connect by purchasing a third party software.
If the ISP provider use Router to connect the Switch then it should work.
Therefore the problem is with the ISP side.
As a work around solution you can share the network connection to other PC. For Example like file sharing
