Does the door lock when you try to start it?

  • Simon Dickinson Nov 04, 2012

No, nothing happens when I press the start button

From your video. it sounds like the "user interface board" needs to be replaced. The start button does not sound right.

  • Simon Dickinson Nov 07, 2012

The start button does not make any noise when pressed. It doesn't feel any different when you press it either, other than you don't hear the door lock or washer begin to fill up.

You will need to replace the user interface board on that unit.

Started washer, heard 'pop', water started coming out of bottom

Thats not good. Sounds like the seal blew out. Inside the unit there are seals that seal up the parts where they are bolted together. Also there is the pressure connection that could have blown out as well. To determine which is the problem you will need to dissassemble it.
