Whenever I try to create an account with Samsung Account on my Samsung Vibrant, I keep getting a force close message (process com.osp.app.signin) Help!
I know this is nearly a 2 year old phone, but it hadn't been used previously. And whenever I'm in Media Hub and I try to go to My Hub, it says I have to long into Samsung Account. So I try to create an account and every time I do, I get this force close message. I have uninstalled the Media Hub update. I'm uninstalled the Samsung Account, reinstalled, rebooted, hard reset. I've done everything I know how to do!
A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones). click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need. Good luck!

I'm not quite sure why are we getting this "force close", cause its app dependent. However i can suggest you the following
Most often, force close messages are caused by the app accessing corrupted data. For one reason or another, the app expects a certain bit of data to be available and can't access it. Since the program isn't programmed or "told" what to do in such situations, the result is a force close. In these cases, you can usually clear the problem by going to "Settings > Apps > app name > Clear data". If doing this doesn't work, you may want to contact the developer of the app for advice.
If it's because you forgot your password then u can always click on Forgot password. It'll prompt you to enter your e-mail addy. Check your email for the password. Souncloud would still have your e-mail address saved and it'll tell you that you already have an account. So try to reset password. Hope this helps :)
Frequently, this happens do to a problem with your contacts or calender. It's a problem with syncing those items with your Google account or PC. If the problem is with one of these, you should try to manually synch the calender and contacts. (Go to Settings > Accounts & Sync > (Go to Gmail account). You'll see the option to sync the Calender, Contacts and Gmail. Select each one to manually attempt to sync the files. Determine which item is providing the error; you will need to clear the data from the problem application. (Note: back up your contacts first. Use the People > Menu > Import/Export > Export to SD card option if you can.)
Next un-check the sync option for the problem app (calender or contacts) under the Google Account > Accounts. Then go to Settings > Apps > Manage Apps > All and clear the data and cache for the problem app. (The contacts may be under the Running list.) Then re-enable the sync feature. If the calender is causing the error, you may need to erase and re-create your recurring item.
For some scrolling down to the Google Frameworks service in the Manage App > Downloads (or Running) menu then clearing that data. Then chose the "force stop" works to fix the problem. (However, this can put your cell phone into a factory reset state and may cause other problems.)
You will need to turn the cell phone off and back on before re-enabling the sync.
. When you have completed the installation process, you should see a confirmation message in your browser window. Click "Sign up now" under "Get a Yahoo ID. "
If you closed the browser window that displayed the "Congratulations! You have successfully installed Yahoo Messenger", then you can go to http://messenger.yahoo.com and click the "Sign Up" link next to "New User" at the top of the page.
2. Complete the Yahoo Account form. A sample form is shown below.
While it's not required include an an alternate email address on the Sign Up form, it Yahoo login name/password, Yahoo will send you an email with the login name/password to the Yahoo email address that was created when you set up your messenger account. However, since the login and password for your Yahoo email account is the same as the login for your Yahoo Messenger account, you will not be able to retrieve the email. In this case you will be forced to create a new Yahoo account.
3. Write down the User ID and any other pertinent information from the confirmation screen. Keep this in a safe place as you will need the login name and password each time you use Yahoo messenger/Yahoo email.
Sadly, to use the Android Marketplace, you must create a Google Account. This account keeps track of your app downloads so, if your phone ever gets erased or replaced, the same apps can be re-downloaded easily. You can set up a Google Account at google.com/account
If there is an option to unlock your phone by logging into your google account, try that. On my phone, it only shows up if you turn off the screen, and turn it back on again, then I enter my login info, and it's unlocked.
If you can't unlock it, another option is to hard reset it. You will lose all your info, but it can be retreived again from your google account. If you have apps on your SD card, it should also reload them as well. If not, your previously installed apps should show up on Market to be reinstalled. However, you should reinstall them all at the same time, because if the Market app closes, it might erase your previous app history. Im not sure if its fixed in later versions of Android (the operating system on your phone), but on my older phone, it deletes the previous app history if you reboot or close the app.
