SOURCE: washer

The symptoms you describe are typical of a broken lid switch. The lid switch is located under the washer top on the right hand side. It is activated through a slot by a small plastic piece on the lid called a "lid strike". Make sure the lid strike is still installed and not broken. Make sure the lid switch itself is not loose, as well. There are two mounting screws along the washer tub opening that hold it in place. If the screws become loose the switch will not make contact with the lid strike when the lid is closed. If you need to replace the switch or lid strike, the parts are available at searspartsdirect.com. Just type in your model number and look under the "Washer Top and Lid" heading on the next page. The lid switch is listed as item number 22 (part #3355806) and the lid strike is listed as item number 16 (part #358684). Both parts combined will cost you about $30. If you have further questions and/or require additional assistance, please let me know. I hope this helps you.

SOURCE: servis ecocare 1000, spinning to fast on aggitate,

It sounds like the speed control is acting up that controls the speed of the motor..
This is usually built into the main control board, and means replacing the unit. the only other possibility , is if the motor has a thing called the tacho magnet, this is to be found on the end of the motor away from the drive pully.
What you are looking for is a round magnet about 20mm in diameter, if there is one, check to see if it is loose or broken as this can effect the speed of the motor.
Plz rate my solution.
Thanks.

SOURCE: Washer will not spin properly

Try this:
The filter on your pump is probably clogged with lint and stuff. You have to remove the bottom front panel, 3 torx screws underneath. The panel will drop and come off. Drain off the excess water from the drain pipe you see. The white filter cover is right in front. Get yourself a good plastic bag to collect water. Unscrew the filter cover and twist the filter out. Clean out all the stuff and put it back in carefully. Check your pump too.

Hello & Welcome to FixYa

If the washer drains fine however will not spin then it means that the door lock assembly is bad and needs replacement. Before the spin cycle starts the control receives a message from the door through its lock mechanism that it is locked and so the unit will spin however, when the door lock is bad it won't even start the spin cycle and so recommended repair is replacing the door lock assembly. If it won't spin and won't drain then you have to take the front bottom panel out and clean the filter pump assembly, after its cleaned the problem should be solved. Please get back to me if you have any other questions.

The circuit board may be defective and need replacing. When a cycle skips or hangs up, generally the progression of events are interrupted. In some cases the level of a machine can effect the spin and other features, so check that also. If a Lid bounces during a cycle, this too can cause a change in cycles.
Replacement is easy if your are able to do it yourself. Just go to the replacement parts dept. of Sears and order the part and take out the old one; put in the new one. Always Disconnect the POWER before working on the appliance.

Hello,

I would suspect the water inlet valve as being the problem,if it drains the water and spins the lid switch is going to be good. The thing exclusive to rinse cycles is that they only fill with cold water, and that is what i suspect the problem being is that it's not filling with cold water on the rinse cycle because of a bad water inlet valve.

My washer skips the spin cycle sometimes i turn the dial to another spin cycle sometimes it works other times no

If you timer switch "skips" the spin cycle (passes through it faster than normal) then it is probably your timer switch.

Or it could be your transmission. The transmission is a two speed unit and the wash cycle is the slow speed and the spin cycle is the fast speed. So if the problem is only the spin cycle then it could be transmission problems. BUT since the transmission is normally a sealed unit on the newer machines you will have to replace the entire transmission instead of just the high speed gear.

The transmission in this machine is worn and is not shifting correctly. Understand that after the aggitate cycle, this machine should go into drain cycle without spinning and it should drain for about 1 minute. Then it should kick into spin cycle after it has emptied all the water. What is happening is it is (like skipping) the drain cycle and going directly into spin with water still in it,,, so the spin is slow as it is trying to empty and spin at the same time,,, thus the clothes do not spin out correctly,,, when you reset the spin, you actually spin all the water out the second time around.

No final spin

I haven't experienced that problem, but is it possible that the machine becomes unbalanced with the spinning load and then aborts the spin, so it doesn't finish? Has the machine been properly leveled during installation?
