Question about Manfrotto 681 Monopod
If the monopod is slipping and getting shorter as you use it, then find the clamp that is not secure. flip open the clamp lever and using a small socket wrench, turn that nut about 1/8 of a turn. Test the slippage. if is still slips give it another 1/8 turn. Do this until is is not slipping. Do not over tighten the nut or you may damage the clamp or leg tube.
If it is the head, I will need more info as to which head you have on that monopod.
