Try to unplug unit then hold down stop/cancel to restart .
if that doesnt work then you most likely have control board issue

Can't select cycle and won't start.

you didn't mention the model number , but I can tell you some models wont start if there's no rinse agent in the dispenser , also for stuck controls a trick that works is to find the breaker for washer in your power panel and click it off for one minute then back on this will force a reset of controls

'low rinse' stuck on with full rinse aid, can't start wash cycle

Actually, if you look closely at that Low Rinse button or emblem, you will see a little lock symbol above the words "Low Rinse", and I'll bet THAT light is the one that is on. Basically, you have the control lock (or child-lock) turned on. To turn it off, you have to press and hold the Sanitize button for 3 to 5 seconds until that light goes off. Now your dishwasher will work!

VSC light on my 2009 pontiac vibe is flashing, also traction control light stays on abs and brake light is on.

I'm having the same exact problem this morning. We had very bad weather that I drove through yesterday with no problems, then this morning the roads were clear and drive and suddenly all these lights came on.

My Honda Accord 1995 will not start. One day the engine decided to only sluggishly turn (wouldn't crank) - then suddenly took off, turned over quickly and started straight away. I charged the...

When the alternator doesn't supply current, the battery light on the dash would light up. (assuming the battery lightbulb is working) Next would be to doubt the voltage regulator not doing a proper job, but usually its either dead or working.

Ghost consumers can be tracked when the engine is off and removing / attaching the battery lead causes quite a bit of spark. Measure the Amps with a multimeter when turned off. When it's in the 2 Amps and upwards region - remove one fuse group after the other to see where most of it goes. Then go through all the separate consumers in that group.

If it's a low current preferably below the 1 Amp - the battery might not be as healthy anymore as suspected.

Talking about a kenmore 665.16389300 dishwasher. the "normal wash" button is blinking, but none of the other buttons seem to work and the cleaning cycle will not start when i press the...

Hi
Open the door. Within 3 seconds press the following sequence --Try pressing normal wash, heated dry, normal wash, heated dry, normal wash, heated dry three times within 6 seconds and then press cancel to reset the dishwasher. If that doesn't help then try pressing Saini Rinse, Heated Dry, Saini Rinse, Heated Dry, Saini Rinse, Heated Dry or Saini Rinse, Air Dry, Saini Rinse, Air Dry, Saini Rinse, Air Dry 3 times in 6 seconds and then the Cancel Button. Close the door and press Cancel.
Blinking lights would stop and should be able to use your dishwasher normally. If the light is still blinking try and reset the power to the dishwasher and try again. If still the light is blinking then check for the connections on the keypad, it may be due to moisture or shorted connections on keypad. Hope this helps... Please post back if you need more information.

Morning Charlie,

If it were me, I would check the wires coming & going to & from engine. Maybe something is crossed. That's what it sounds like, anyways.
