All stored memory is on the Harddrive. Ram Memory is Volatile Memory. Stored data in it is lost once the computer is turned off. BIOS program on BIOS chipset is Flash memory. Do Not delete. Now,...what memory are you referring to? Post back in a Comment.

To "Wipe your memory" I have to assume you mean your hard drive. You will need a disc that has a Format function on it. It is easiest to use a Windows disc to do this. Just put the disc in the cd/dvd drive and wait for the format request to come up. If you just want to remove all of your personal data, The easiest way is to create a new "Administrator" account in the control panel under "User Accounts" then log into that account and delete your user account. This will remove your personal data.

If your notebook's OS is Windows XP, Vista or 7 you can use
ophcrack. Ophcrack is a Windows password cracker based on a time-memory trade-off using rainbow tables. This is a new variant of Hellman's original trade-off, with better performance. It recovers 99.9% of alphanumeric passwords in seconds.

You download an ISO file. You can use this file to burn a CD or DVD and boot that way or you can use a program like UnetBootin or YUMI to setup a flash drive to boot your notebook.
