Hi, This unit appears to just click through all wash cycles. I have even tried running boil wash with nothing in to see what happens.
On any wash cycle you can see water being drawn in and pouring on to clothes, then the drum spins round once and it starts to click through the cycle, water seems to drain out but it never does a SPIN cycle.
Could it be that after that initial "spin" some sensor tells the unit it is off balance or overloaded?
Any ideas or answers greatly appreciated
Gordon
Machine will not spin at all or dry at all. Can set timer and it appears to want to work but the drum does not move and nothing happensMachine will not spin at all or dry at all. Can set timer and it appears to want to work but the drum does not move and nothing happens

Incongruence between level of electronic
pressure switch and level of anti-boiling
pressure switch 2 (duration of fault at least 60
seconds).
Cycle is blocked with door closed.
Could be: Hydraulic circuit of pressure switches; electronic
pressure switch; pressure switch; wiring between main PCB and electronic pressure switch; wiring between main PCB and safety pressure switch; and finally main PCB.
Hi, my zanussi fle1216w is skipping the fabric softener stage of the
cycle. I've cleaned the dispensing drawer and the surrounding areas,
even put on a boil wash in case somethihg was gunge up or visits the Zanussi Owners Manual.
Sounds like the main drum bearings have failed, and the marks on clothes are probably grease spots from the main bearings.
It is quite an involved repair, and not one that I would recommend you tackle yourself unless you are competent to do so,as it really is involved.
Please rate my solution.
Thanks.
Washer dryers often have cold water valves with 3 separate solenoids. One for the main wash and rinses (which is clearly ok) and one for the condition rinse (to take the fabric conditioner down) which is probably ok too, and the 3rd one is for the dryer. It's possible this 3rd solenoid has failed.
Washer dryers need on a steady trickle of cold water running into the condenser chamber to convert the steam into water, which then gets pumped down the drain.
e10 means that there is a problem with the water supply. a condenser dryer needs cold water to operate properly. the e10 code will appear if: 1. the water is turned off 2.the water pressure is too low. 3.the solenoid valve is open circuit 4.there is a problem with the pressure switch (least likely)
Cold valve is at the end of blue inlet pipe remove lid and you will see it.
f E10 is only appearing when trying to dry, the problem almost certainly is the condenser valve solenoid open circuit. The green solenoid on the inlet valve. Should read about 4000 ohms.
My money would be on the solenoid coil being open circuit. The coil can be canabalised from most valves although you may have to modify the connections. For simpler repairs - contact Zanussi and get the entire triple inlet water valve to swap out.
