Question about Car Audio & Video
Screen says car < in upper right hand corner of screen and in the middle of the screen it says No video. All the functions on the deck stop working. In some cases I can still hear the radio station but can not turn up the volume or do anything for that matter. Deck wont turn on or off until I turn off the car or turn off the lights. Once I turn off the lights I gain control of the screen and deck again. All wires on the harnest are connected to their color. I bypassed the dvd screen function by hooking the brown (brake wire) to ground. I am guessing the Orange wire doesn't need to be connected Orange is reverseing switch. I have a 2003 dodge grand caravan.

The flicker which happens is as a result of a power failure in the unit. Whenever this power fluctuation occurs it causes the unit power to go off and then restart. The restart is what brings about the screen which displays media at the top and the radio display screen. try tracing the cables which supply power to the unit for any inconsistencies to sort this out. Also you can check te use which affects the supply of power to te unit.
Here are 2 links to help with bypassing the brake. The first is a video while the other is a detailed step by step explanation.
hope this solution has been helpful?

Leapster L-Max recalibrates differently. I was trying to use the instructions and it kept asking for a blue button. For the Leapster L-Max push B, A, Hint, and Home when you turn it on. Do not have a cartridge in the player or it will think it is a regular Leapster. Once it says calibrate screen it will say to press A, then wait until a target appears in the upper left hand corner, touch it and you should hear a sound, then a new target appears in the lower left hand, repeat actions, then lower right hand screen, and finally the upper right hand screen. If it stops at any time and doesn't get more arrows, try it again or turn it off and see if the pen works. It may take several times to get it working again.
