Reinstall the cd. If is doesn't not work then the HD likely need replacment .

Over the past couple of months I've been doing regular updates to the Advent laptops section of our site and one thing that I'm really finding is that the official Advent support site run by "The Tech Guys" (or PC Servicecall if you prefer) is riddled with errors. The worst offender so far is Advent 7048 pages where the specification on the official site is completely different to what is actually in the laptop. So be careful when pointing people there for information/drivers and I would say take it as a guideline rather than the gospel truth.

Im using the advent 4211-b and its flawless.small,light ,looks good has all you need built in and also has choice at startup windows or recovery.cant fault it.if you cant reboot.press power ,get as far as you get ,press and hold power button til switch off press power button again to restart(boot)if youre already in windows and cant shut down or reboot do the same.as long as you dont turn off and unplug no damage to the system will occur.
