Question about Apple iPod classic MP3 Player
My new ipod classic (and my old one) don't recognize all artists and songs in my library, although many will sync correctly in the standard way.
I can manually transfer those missing artists and songs from my library to a playlist, and the playlist will sync correctly, but they don't show up by artist / song etc. Note: In my library windows, they don't show up in the "artist" listing...although you can scroll through the songs and find them.
What's up? This is very frustrating because it's a lot of music that has to be dealt with differently. Because the artist doesn't show up in the library's "artist" window, it leads me to believe it's not a syncing problem on my ipod.
Have you tried right-clicking on one of the songs and choosing Get Info? I had some songs like that too and had to fill out the artist. After that it remembered the information even if I removed the song from my library and re-added it later.
