SOURCE: Timer doesn't come on after being set. Operates landscape lights

Check your circuit breaker that feeds the timer circuit in your main electric panel. It may have tripped. Sometimes when a breaker trips it's hard to tell visually, so turn the breaker off, then back on.
Also, the circuit that feeds the timer may be on the load side of a GFCI receptacle. Look for one that has tripped. Sometimes they are found in obscure places.

I have a 16 amp Legrand electrical timer cat 037 30 on my hot water system. How do I program it?

Legrand 037 30 is vertical analog timer similar to hagar EH 010
Open following link for illustration how to set and wire timer.
http://waterheatertimer.org/images/EH-010-2-2-500.jpg

Hours of the day appear on timer dial as you rotate dial around.
Hagar timer you push segments left for ON times, and right for OFF times.
To set current time, manually rotate 24-hour timer dial until current time lines up with mark.

You can also move some of the segments to the right and leave rest of segments to the left.
Then manually rotate timer dial several rotations with thumb while listening to the hot water system turn on-and-off, or use tester to test power at terminals 3 and 4 or use tester at hot water system.
If timer has override lever, then move lever to each position and repeat test by rotating dial with each switch setting.

I have a GE Timer Cat. No. 58280 and the paper or stick on dial with the settings has disappeared. Is there a dial that I could print and re-stick on to my timer? Thank you!

I think I found a solution: this appears to be a single-outlet version of GE 06655 Light-Sensitive 8-Hour Dual-Outlet Timer. I have tried matching the dial settings from the online image and it seems to work. There are seven settings on the timer switch. Set the pointer of the rotary switch dial so the ridge clicks into place with one end pointing precisely at the triangular switch position indicator. This is the Off position. Turn the dial one click clockwise, this is the Always On position. Then comes the 2-Hour setting, meaning it comes on at dusk and turns off after two hours. Then come the 4-hour, 6-hour and 8-hour settings. Finally, the Dusk-till-Dawn setting.

How do I program a Micronta programmable timer--I set the time to have it go on, but how do I set it to go off?

LCD Programmable Timer (630-0892) Operation Faxback Doc. # 17153 Setting The Time and Day Follow these steps to set the current time and day. 1. Slide RUN/PROG/TIME SET to TIME SET. 2. Press HOUR to set the hour digits. Pressing and holding down HOUR rapid- ly advances the hour digits. NOTE: P appears to the left of the hour digits to indicate P.M. hours. 3. Press MIN (minute) to set the minutes digits. Pressing and holding down MIN rapidly advances the minute digits. 4. Press DAY until the correct day abbreviation appears. 5. Slide the RUN/PROG/TIME SET switch to RUN. The colon flashes to show the clock is running. NOTE: Keep this switch set to RUN to prevent accidentally changing the time. Setting The Timer The timer has 14 settings (1-14). Odd numbered settings specify a time to turn on the appliance and even numbered settings specify a time to turn off the appliance. Follow these steps to set your timer. 1. Slide the RUN/PROG/TIME SET switch to PROG. The display shows the first setting. If you have not entered any setting, the display appears as shown in the illustration. 2. Press Event to select a setting to enter or change. 3. Press Hour to set the HOUR digits and press MIN to set minute digits to the correct time. NOTE: Be sure P appears to the left of the hour digits when you want to set a P.M. hour. 4. Press Day to select the day of the week for this setting. If you want the setting to apply to every day of the week, repeatedly press DAY until all day indicators appear on the display. 5. When you finish entering the setting, press EVENT. The timer advances to the next setting. 6. Repeat Steps 3 through 5 to enter additional settings. NOTES: Be sure to set the timer to turn off the appliance. The appli- ance remains on as long as there is power if you do not set a time for the appliance to turn off. To replace an existing event, select its setting number and set the new event time. To clear an event, select its setting number and press CLEAR twice. Be sure to clear both the on time and the off time for an event. If you set the timer to turn on the appliance every day, be sure to also set the timer to turn off the appliance every day. 7. Set the RUN/PROG/TIME SET switch to RUN. NOTE: You must set this switch to RUN to turn on or off the appliance either automatically or manually. When the timer automatically turns on the appliance, ON appears on the display and the indicator lights red. When the appliance turns off, the indicator turns off. Reviewing The Settings To review the settings in your timer, set RUN/PROG/TIME SET to PROG. Setting 1 appears on the display. Repeatedly press EVENT to view the other settings. NOTE: To determine event being programmed, pull the power for a period of 5 minutes. Then re-power the unit. The first event will be "ON" and the next will be "OFF", etc. There will be a number to the side of the display that tells you which event you are programming, The even numbers are "OFF" and the odd numbers are "ON" events. Ecoplus Digital 120v Timer Dual Outlet 24hr 7day Timer: my timer is not cutting on when i have it set to....

Make sure your timmer is set to "AUTO" mode and that your programed times/weekdays are good, resetting the timmer should solve your issue i've had it before, these timmers do this to me once and a while.

Make sure you dont have an "O" on the left of your time as this randomises off/on times by 2 to 32 mins. Press "HOUR" and "MINUTES" at the same time to toggle this option.

the timers manual can be found here:
