I bought a ddu250 and an xlr connector for it. I looked at the picture of the wiring diagram and it has the White wire going to pin 2, the black wire going to pin e and the shielded wire going to pin 1. ...

does this mic have a switch? Is this mic dual impedance? If it is dual impedance depending on the impedance of the input will determin if you use 2 or3 wires. If it is only low impedance then white to pin2 black to pin 3 and the shield to pin1. If it is low imlpedance and has a switch the red and blue wire may be connected at the switch and may also have to be conneceted to pin2 and3. any more questions call me a the store.

This seems like at cables have gone bad or either the connections in the speakers went bad. Its best to replace them unless you know how to disassemble and re-soder the connections.

Hello,

I have had totally the same problem before, and I have discovered that it is actually because of the electric current running through the speakers when the volume is low or muted.

I am afraid to tell you that the only solution to this problem is to raise the volume, as it is not a malfunction in the speakers but in the electric current running through them.

Good luck.

I have a Bogen Enhancer system and have really enjoyed using it. But occasionally I get quite a bit of static (interference?) when I am teaching. Any suggestions?

I am struggling with similar issues. Adjusting the level down on your audio amplifier may help; this may raise another issue in that teacher's voice could seem too quite. Another concern with static may be the placement of the IR sensors. Haven't had much luck finding published guidance from Bogen. Nice system - just not working as well as hoped for.

The noise is certainly not coming from the speaker as I have muted it. The noise more like a low frequency noise, I am not able to decide whether it is from the fan or from some other components

Hi. Check for outside sources that might be causing the static noise. The laptop might be near an Electro-magnetic emitting device like a high-powered lamp or speakers or wireless phones or even a device with a running motor.

I get a loud static noise, when I first turn on the yamaha ysp-1. Lasts a few seconds. Have unplugged all inputs. Problem persists.

u have a cool sound projector but u have a baaaad power supply system. bad power supply design - u will get all sorts of noise when u power it up. i have a sub woofer with the same problem(which in my case is the way it is designed). i used a delay circuit. but in ur case i know YSP-1 has a clean start up. so, if the warranty still covers it get it replaced. static noises, pop noises are often caused by bad capacitors.

Insignia PC speakers - give a weird static feedback noise

I'm going to vote for the haunted option.

Sound like you have some noise on your power lines. This can be caused from many different things. Normaly it is a motor going bad or a compressor starting up. From the AC unit or refrigerator.

See if you can correspond the noise to anything else happening in the house. Fridge starting up, AC or heat cycling on...etc.

It may be that you just have speakers and a cordless phone going bad at the same time.

It might just be Casper the friendly ghost playing tricks... ha!

Laptop noise interference

Hi,
This appears to be a problem with the soundcard or device. The mic/headphone/speakers are all usually associated with the sound card. you may have had a virus attack or problems with the items drivers. Check the device has no problems:- My Computer/Control Panel/System/Device Manager ( Yellow Exclamation ) denotes Problem. Alternatively, is to disable the Mic Input Via the sound cards control Panel.

Thankyou for using Fixya.
