a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

The only way to gain access when the admin pin has been lost is to open the panel on the left side of the printer. With the printer off, rRemove the metal cover over the board. Look for a small yellow jumper. There should be a series of three pins with the jumper connecting the center and right pin. Move it to the left so it covers the left and center pin. Wait about a minute and then turn on the printer. You should be able to regain access to the menus. You may always want to do a restore to factory by holding in select (checkmark) and right arrow then turning on the printer and releasing the buttons after about ten seconds to gain access to the service menu. From in there you can reset the printer back to factory. You can also reset just the network to clear a forgotten web password for example. These instructions also work on the Dell equivalent which is a 5530dn I believe.

Power printer off. When printer is powered off, hold down the check button and the right arrow button and hold these down while powering printer back on. Hold the buttons down for 10-20sec....
When printer is finished you are at the config menu. Hit down once, and you will see reset maint counter. Hit menu twice... and you will see resetting...
Then hit back twice to get to the main menu and use your up/down arrows until you see exit config menu. Hit enter and it will reboot printer back to the regular menu.

You can reset the maintenance count by going to the Configuration Menu.
Step 1: Turn off your X64x printer
Step 2: Hold the 2 and 6 buttons while the printer is off
Step 3: Turn on the printer but don't release the buttons yet. Keep holding those buttons for about 10 secs
Step 4: On your Operator Panel, you should see "Configuration Menu"
Step 5: Scroll down and look for "Reset Maint Count" and select it.
Step 6: Exit Config Menu and powercycle your printer (turn it off then back on)
Hope this is helpful... =)
