Register the program. When the license is requested, the key algorithm will be submitted to the program or vendor.

I need a product key for win7 ultimate and ms office 2007 prof.. i dont have that numbers :D

Hi

MS Word and Win7 Ultimate are Programs that require a Licence before they can be used. The 25 character Product ID is a unique code that links a genuine, original MS Office CD or Win 7 DVD with its original Licence. During installation, the Product ID is entered in order to be able to continue the installation. Entering the code binds the user to use the software only in accordance with predefined terms that appear onscreen during the installation process and that the user is required to tick to confirm agreement with before being able to proceed with the installation. Successfully entering the correct code confirms that the user has the Licence. If the Licence is unique, when the computer goes on line, the Program becomes activated when the Product ID that was entered is checked and validated on Microsoft's Licence Database by cross-referencing it with the computer's unique ID. If the validation process shows the Product ID to have previously been registered in association with a different computer, the validation process then checks how many users the Licence is valid for and for which computers' unique IDs the user has been validated. If the validation process shows that the software is within the agreed number of validations defined in the Licence Agreement, the validation process is complete and the software is activated. Activation of the software entitles a user to install and use the Program on the agreed number of different computers.

Activated software entitles the user to benefit from support and to receive online updates, enhancements, security patches and upgrades from Microsoft. During the first of such downloads after activation, the activation is verified and the computer on which the Activated Program is installed becomes authorised for the Program to be operated on it and for it receive future regular downloads unhindered. Any failure of the Validation, Activation or Authorisation processes can result in Notifications, Error Messages, Usage Limitations or Usage Restrictions. MS Office can be installed without a Licence if a Trial version is either be downloaded and installed or factory pre-installed on a new computer. At the end of the predefined and agreed Trial Period, a unique 25 character Activation Code must be purchased and entered in order for that Program to continue to be used on that computer. Entering the code, followed by Validation and Authorization put the user in the same position as the holder of a fully licensed version of MS Office.

Currently, only 60 Day Trial versions of MS Office 2010 can be downloaded directly from Microsoft. and only full, licensed versions of MS Office 2010 can be purchased direct from Microsoft. Full, genuine original, licensed versions of MS Office 2010 and limited remaining stocks of previous versions of MS Word and MS Office (the 2000, 2003 and 2007 versions) can be purchased can be purchased from Authorised Resellers of Microsoft Products. If you purchased the physical software in a retail pack from a store or an online trader, you can register the product with Microsoft (if you have not done so yet); confirming your details and the time and place of purchase and Microsoft Support will send you an Activation Code. In the event that the software was obtained by downloading, please note that full, genuine licensed versions of Microsoft Products cannot usually be downloaded without the separate purchase of an Activation Code.

If you remain unable to reconcile the software with its correct matching Licence and yet are determined to continue using Win 7 Ultimate and MS Office 2007, then you will have to purchase full, genuine, unused licensed versions of the software from a reputable, reliable supplier, such as Amazon (www.amazon.com). Online offers of Free Downloads of Microsoft products are probably almost universally either not genuine, illegal, unlicensed or pre-used licence versions, downloadable only from illicit download sites or sites that are masquerading non-existent Microsoft products as camouflage for the marketing of other (often unrelated) software, products or services and any software downloaded from them is likely to have usage limitations or restrictions once installed. Even if you do succeed in finding a genuine download site for MS Office 2007 or Win 7 Ultimate AND manage to complete a successful, uncorrupted download, you will still have to purchase a separate, genuine, unused Activation Code for both products before you can successfully install them, use them with confidence, register them, activate them and download and benefit from Updates and Security Patches for them from Microsoft. Another option is to download MS Office 2010 Pro 60 Day Trial and install it, carefully following each step:

Go to:
http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/try

You can use Open Office simultaneously with MS Office Pro 2007 60 Day Trial. If you delete MS Office Pro 2010 60 Day Trial, well before the 60 day expiry date, and Remove all components of it from Add or Remove Programs (or its equivalent in your Operating System) and restart before downloading and re-installing, it is usually possible to enter into further 60 Day trial periods.

My computer was formatted by a technician who used a pirated copy of windows XP2. I have been sent message by microsoft that the XP2 is not genuine. how can install my genuine XP2 without losing my files?

If the version of XP you have is the same as the one that is now installed, you can do a repair installation. This essentially reinstalls Windows without deleting your user files. During the installation you'll be prompted to enter the product key, so you can use the one from your genuine copy. It's still a good idea to back up your data first, though.

Boot from your Windows XP CD and start the installation. One of the options that will be available is to repair a current installation. Select that to begin the process.

Another option is to purchase a new hard drive. They aren't expensive. Install that as the primary drive in your computer and make the current one a slave, and do a fresh installation of XP on the new drive. Then you can reinstall your applications, move your data over from the other drive (or leave it there), and you'll have the extra drive for added storage space. If the XP version the tech installed is not the same as the genuine copy you have, you will need to do a fresh installation in any case, as the product key from your copy would most likely not be valid for the one he put on.

I would suggest not going back to that same technician in the future. Guys like that give us ethical technicians a black eye.

I have a genuine office 2007 and am trying to install it on my third computer. When validating I am being informed that I have reached the limit of my licence. What can I do? Thanks Martin

Well, I suspect you know but you have to buy more license or convince Microsoft that the product is no longer installed on one of your computers.
Legally, you can only install on one or three computers depending on your license agreement.

Please sofve this genuine software problem....

When you get this message it means that the licence used to install windows is not genuine.

When this happen you are supposed to call Microsoft to find out why you get the message.

To temporarily get rid of the message you can do a system restore to a date before the message came for the first time.

Regards.
