Look for the small tab/sliding switch on the side of the card and make sure it's not on write protect. If this isn't the problem then the switch or card may be physically damaged and need to be replaced.

SOURCE: 2GB sd card

SD and SDHC cards have a slide switch along one edge. The position nearest the contacts enables writing, the position furthest from the contacts disables writing, protecting the card. If the switch is already in the enable position, try sliding it fully the other way and then back.

If that doesn't work, then try a different card.

What is the class of this card? 4 or 10

If on the card is no C with the 4 or 10 in it, it even can be worse. As you can see on the picture a Class 10 card sometimes only has a C with the 10 inside.
The 32 Mbyte card you show here, is an old SD card and in those days they only gave read and write speed in Mega byte / second, if it was a real good card. If it should be a class 10 card with say 40 Mb throughput a second you would have 0,8 seconds to completely fill the card.
In a modern photo camera with 12 or 16 M pix, it could hold 3 or 4 pictures and it would be full.

Can i use other sd cards higher than 32MB

What make and model camera?

SD cards only go up to 2GB. SDHC cards go from 4GB to 32GB. SDXC cards begin at 64GB and go up. If a camera was not specifically designed to work with a particular card type, it will only work with lower types. For example, if the camera was not designed to work with SDXC cards then it will only work with SD and SDHC cards.

Number of photos

You can't get room for more than 33 pictures on a 16MB card.
I'd suggest you buy a bigger SD card for the camera.
Your camera can use up to 2GB cards.

How do I transfer pictures "from" my computer "to" my Scan Disc?

Some computers have a card slot built in the front of there case,if not, you need a usb card reader. They are very cheap. You put the card into the reader, plug the reader into a usb port and windows
will open the card as a folder. It is used just like a hard drive, you can copy and paste or just drag something into the folder that is
your sd card.

You can also get a reader that can handle several different kinds of cards.
