What is a WPA2 password?

A WPA2 password is simply a password, nothing more. The difference between a WPA2 password and a WPA password is the amount of security each have-- WPA2 is more secure than WPA.

What is WPA2 pass phrase

WPA2 is a method for encrypting wireless connections.
WPA2 passphrase is a password you can set in the routers configuration menu, so that others cannot access your internet connection/home network. It is highly recommended to use it as otherwise your personal data could easily get compromised (I suggest using WPA2-PSK).
If you are asking this because you forgot/don't know your routers password then I suggest resetting it (pressing the reset button with a toothpick or pen for about 10 seconds) this will remove the password, and then you can reconfigure it by following your routers manual.

I have a new Kindle (not 3G). It recognizes the wireless network on the Llnksys WRT400, WPA2 security, but not the 15 character password. Another Kindle with 3g could not connect to the wireless network...

An important feature of SES (the 15 character password) is wireless security...if you are using wireless adapter and if you are not aware of the wireless settings of the router, at that point on the wireless adapter software you may find SES button... once you press that button, wireless security on the router would change to "WPA" and adapter will automatically pick up the "WPA" security from the router...
You cannot use SES and WPA2 at the same time. SES will only activate once you push the SES button on the adapter or sometime in the router assuming you dont know the WPA2 security, but if you do know the WPA2 no need to use SES (15 character password).

I have a linksys wireless - G 2.4. It is not showing as secure. How can I secure it?

log onto the router with your browser, go to wireless security, set it to WPA2 (WPA2 TKIP if there is different types offered) choose a password, save and exit
connect with the computer and put your password in.
If you dont know how to log on to the router, just google linksys setup and your model number

I need to know how to set up a password on my belkin wirless router

Are we talking about an administration password or a wireless password? If its the wireless password then you can just login into your router and click on wireless->Security. Choose encryption type (WEP 64/128, WPA, WPA2-PSK). Choose WPA2-PSK and type in a password. Click on apply changes. The router will reboot and you will have to use your password to connect to your wireless network.
PS: If its an administration password then let me know and I will give you the appropriate procedure.

How to set a password for my wifi netgear wireless-G Router?

Connect the router ot the machine via the ethernet cable and open up a web page in the address bar type in the ip address of the router typically or or once in there should be a security section to make the router secure wep wpa or wpa2.

Wpa2 would be my recommendation as it is the most secure.
