the microwave won't heat, soemtimes you will get a loud buzz, you usually have a
defective power diode, high-voltage capacitor, or magnetron. We
recommend that you consult with a qualified appliance repair technician
for help in determining the problem and deciding what to do about it.
Unlock your Kenmore dishwasher control panel by pressing and holding the "Heated Dry" button for four seconds.
Press a series of four buttons in quick succession. Press "Heated Dry,"
"Normal Wash," "Heated Dry" and "Normal Wash" to instruct your Kenmore
dishwasher to run a short diagnostic test
Wait for two minutes while your Kenmore dishwasher runs its diagnostic test.
Press the "Cancel/Drain" button once your dishwasher has completed its
diagnostic test. This should reset your dishwasher control panel and
stop the "Clean" light from blinking repeatedly.

Sounds like a bearing is tightening up when it get heated up with use. Then after a cool down period it works normally until using it heats it up again. Eric
"d" may mean demo mode.
The first thing to try is a "hard reset".
Unplug it from the power outlet for 10 minutes, plug it back in, set the clock, then try again.
simply stated.. if it fails to cook.. you may have either a bad magnetron tube ( that's the part that generates the microwave energy that cooks the food) or the filament transformer feeding that magnetron is bad. In either case.. you're probably better off replacing the entire appliance than repairing it.. Hope that helps...
If the microwave is working but not heating 9 of 10 times is the magnetron that fails.
