SOURCE: I've just replaced the front
Possible that the door switch is defective and so the entire function is put on HOLD.
So trace the connection to the door switch to check the continuity of the switch . If there is no contact of the switch you need to replace .
If not check the lines to the other sensors to see if there is an error sensing that makes the main circuit to be kept on hold.
Since your main board is a new one , we need to look only on these two issues.
Finally is there any action of the control panel reflecting on the program. If not remove plug keep aside for few minutes and replug with the stop/play button pressed.

First of all how do you know the thermostat and the heater were bad?
Did you check both parts with a volt meter by checking continuity/resistance?
First thing we need to do is if you dont already know, learn how to use a volt meter. It takes all the guessing out of the troubleshooting.
Watch the movie click the link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nddAA5IAUik
You will need to check for power at the heating element when in the dry cycle 110vac
let me know about the voltage reading email me email@example.com
Sounds like it's not being told to turn on.
if no voltage at the heater, you will need to trace the power source back to the control. Which is located behind the control panel where your touch panel is in the front top of the unit.
